The all-wheel drive category 4 BELARUS 2022.3 tractor (212 hp) is designed to operate in agricultural and other kinds of industries. It is designed to fulfill power-consuming agricultural operations of general purposes, i.e. general tillage and pre-sawing soil treatment; sawing of crops and other plants in combination with wide-cut and combined machinery; harvesting operations in combination with highly productive complex machinery at fodder stocking, harvesting of roots, crops, and industrial plants; transportation and handling operations; as a rig, load supply in the seasons of bad roads and by the roads of a low baring capacity.
BELARUS 2022.3/2022.4 was developed by great modernization of class 3 BELARUS 1523 tractor and has a number of significant differences along with partial unification of previous model:
The tractor is equipped with a 6-cylinder highly efficient easy-to-operate and easy-to-service turbo-supercharged engine D 260.4 S2 produced by Minsk Motor Plant, meeting the second stage European requirements on ecology.
A comfortable and safe cab with full-scope toned windscreens provides a perfect visibility and low noise level. All control devices are placed in handy reachable areas.
The forward speed alteration, from slowed-down (2.8 km/h) to maximum transportation ones (39.6 km/h), is supported by 24-stepped ratio in the gearbox. The backward speed alteration (from 5.8 to 13 km/h) is supported by 12-stepped ratio respectively. It allows to choose any speed for the machinery depending on the kind of operations. The speed shifting is easily performed with synchronizers; the speed range is altered with toothed clutches. The control is performed with two gearbox levers. At a low ground bite of the rear wheels or high tractive effort the front driving axle is automatically engaged, which allows to use a full weight of the tractor as an adhesion weight, which in its turn improves the traction power. The integral power steering control with hydraulic steering booster provides an easy and simple operation of the tractor. The "Bosch" hydraulic system provides draft, position, and combined automatic regulation modes.
To improve towing and hitching characteristics of the tractor, the rear wheels differential lock in combination with forced lock (non-fixed position) and automatic disengagement at the front wheels' angular displacement of more than 13 degrees is provided.
The assemblage includes a wide range of towing mechanisms that are designed fir a building-block approach to various kinds of agricultural machinery and equipment.
The construction design guarantees a high performance index and, consequently, a high efficiency at the exploitation of the tractor.
The tractor is equipped with a Minsk Motor Plant 6-cylinder highly efficient easy-to-operate and easy-to-service turbo-supercharged engine D 260.4 S2 with an intermediate cooling of the supercharging air and a supporting oil case.

24/12 synchronized gearbox, clutch – dry, double-disk, spring-loaded, control with hydraulic booster. Differential lock – by dog clutch with electric-hydraulic, has 3 operating modes: disengaged, automatic engagement (at turning) and disengagement, forced engaged.

The tractor is equipped with an automatic hydraulic system in combination with "Bosch" units and components. The system regulates the position of the agricultural machinery attached to the tractor, and provides draft, position, and combined operating modes. The power gauge is installed on the linear rods; the position gauge is installed on the pivoting shaft arm.
The tractor is equipped with a unit-principle hydraulic system. The spool regulating is performed by means of the cable control via levers, installed on the control panel.
The rear hitch device represents a three-point joint-type quadric-crank mechanism that allows a building-block approach to the agricultural machinery of drawbar category 3.
For the building-block approach to the trailing and semi-trailing machinery a drawhook and a lifting-type towing mechanism are designed.

For trailing machinery - towing coupler 1 - a simple crossbar of vertical load limit up to 650 kgf.
Simi-trailing and trailing machinery are attached via a towing coupler 1M-01 - draft arm (vertical load limit of 1200 kgf), and via a towing coupler 2P (vertical load limit of 2500 kgf).
A lift type device (vertical load limit of 2500 kgf) is provided for trailing machinery. It also allows a building-block approach to semi-trailing machinery.
For the machinery with an active drive rear and front (optional) PTOs are provided. The rear PTO has two independent rotation speeds: 540 rpm (at the engine's 1930 and 1475 rpm) and 1000 rpm (at the engine's 1910 and 1640 rpm). The front PTO makes 1000 rpm.
